PROJECT MANAGER

This role will provide overall management direction for a project or group of projects and will perform additional duties that include procuring equipment and subcontracts, monitoring and accurately projecting job costs, maintaining billing and schedules and providing technical support and leadership to the field. Additional responsibilities include providing production oversight with the project’s Superintendent on the day-to-day activities of assigned projects. The Project Manager will also develop and maintain long term customer relationships to foster better communications and develop future work Ultimately responsible for quality projects being built on time and within budget Reviews project estimates and verifies accuracy of entry into job cost system as well as accuracy of initial estimate Conducts pre-job and continuing planning meetings to ensure all project team members understand contract terms and conditions, clauses, schedules or any unusual requirements of the project Documents planning meeting results and ensures all action items are completed. Develops and keeps current all project schedules Monitors personnel manning schedules to ensure they match project schedules Establishes and executes subcontract and equipment buy-outs to support schedules and funding Visits job sites or onsite offices daily. Performs work inspections, checks job progress, and resolves project and contract issues Investigates potentially serious job issues and implements corrective measures Stays on top of all scope changes to ensure they are processed and incorporated into the current scope of work in a timely manner Provides material takeoff, estimate and pricing for changes to work scope Conducts and attends job meetings according to customer and company guidelines and schedules

PROJECT ENGINEER

Plan the work and develop look-a-head programs
Liaise with the design coordination team to resolve technical discrepancies including preparing and submitting technical queries and meeting with design consultants as required
Manage the schedule of shop drawings and monitor the output of drafters
Plan the equipment and material requirements and raise purchase requisitions as required
Mentor and manage Site Engineers assigned to your zone/works areas
Review the authority approvals required (BCA, Utility Clearances, etc) ahead of the works and ensure submissions are made such that the clearances can be achieved before works start

Requirement
Degree in Civil or Structural engineering.
Minimum 5-7 years of relevant on-site civil construction experience with project management skills.
Preferably with experience and knowledge in the civil infrastructure works field.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Design engineer

Responsibilities

  • Design engineering structure according to technical requirements as defined by contract, class rules, and specific standards within quality, time, and cost given.
  • Prepare and provide design calculation / BOM/ general arrangement / sectional drawings.
  • Produce accurate assembly/detail drawings within an agreed time scale.
  • Ensure the drawing list is updated.
  • Ensure production drawings and documents are completed and issued on time.
  • Update and understand know-how on rules, class, authorities etc.
  • Prepare 3rd party approval submission documents.
  • Investigate the scope of re-work / modification brought forward by the Production.
  • Able to use STAADPro / Sold Works is a must to perform design calculations.
  • Perform engineering coordination /drafting (drawings) / checking as and when required.

Requirements

  • Degree / Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience preferably in a similar industry.
  • Software knowledge in STAADPro/Solid Works is a must.
  • Hands-on AutoCAD, 2D, 3D, and drafting knowledge.
  • Organized, meticulous, team player with sense of responsibility.

MECHANICAL DRAFTSMAN

  • Create technical drawings, manufacturing schematics, and 2D and 3D digital models of mechanical equipment designs, using measurements, specifications and additional data from engineering team
  • Collect initial drawings, calculations and design ideas from engineers, and combine all relevant data into coherent and complete initial design models for review and modification
  • Coordinate directly with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements, verify design details and recommend modifications as needed according to company standards and best practices
  • Annotate and verify all numerical designations and specifications in technical drawings and schematics, using both CAD programs and manual calculations when necessary
  • Communicate with manufacturing personnel to create detailed layouts prior to production, and assist in designing, creating and testing production molds
  • Provide support to engineering team as needed by creating technical drawings and digital models within deadlines and utilizing multiple methods to ensure deliverables include all relevant design details
  • Assist in ongoing project to standardize and unify design document standards by participating in meetings and preparing presentation materials as necessary
